digital printing

I would like to get into publishing at a home office. Does
anyone know what equipment I would need to be able to do
digital printing at home, and can anyone suggest top
manufacturers of this equipment.

Hello, after spending a lot of time on this, I decided to
use HP Indigo printing. That is far too expensive for
anyone's home but most good printers have the technology
and can use electronic files from Publisher. I just did
spectacular business cards - the printer had a proof
ready in two hours and final production in 2 days. They
used 100Lb card stock and completed 1,000 cards for
$70.00. No home printer could produce that level of
quality on that level of paper and I could not afford to
manage the process for $70. There are probably makers
other than HP Indigo but that is the quality standard any
printer will recognize.
Good luck.
