Digital Signature message irritating

Hi all. I receive the following pop-up when using a digital signature to
sign outgoing mail on outlook 2003:

An application is requesting access to a Protected item

CryptoAPI Private Key

It is very irritating to click on OK every time I need to send mail. Has
anyone found a way around this?
