Digital signature

I made an own sertificate and tried to use it in my VBA project. Everything
goes fine until I open the file next time. The signature isn't anymore in the
VBA project and so Word always warns about the macros. Any suggestion? The
file where I try to put the signature is a template (if it matters) Should
the macros be in normal-project?

If a digital signature is lost, this is usually because changes were made after
the project was signed.

Do you add the signature, then immediately save and close the template?

Cindy, I'm sorry it took time to answer.

I don't save anything because Word warns that the digital signature is lost
when saved.

However the signature isn't there in the VBA the next time I open the
template.

I wouldn't like to put the minimal protection level...
