I have an application that I have been working with for some time.
When I am ready to release the application to the users I use the
Custom Startup Wizard and I add a digital certificate to the project
and create the mde file for distribution. This has worked fine for
some time.
Now all of the sudden I go into my mdb file and when I open it i get an
error that I can't view it because there is no digital signature
associated with the file. HUH?
So I tried recreating the database - importing all my objects, etc... -
and digitally signing the database. I closed the database and opened
it - and I got the same message - even though I had digitally signed
the database.
I don't understand the problem and it has screwed me big time. I can't
open any of my mdb's or mde's on my system now without getting this
message!
