Dimmed Lines

In 2003, I have a presentation that has three lines of text:

Line One
Line Two
Line Three

When the slide containing these three lines appears, Line One shows
immediately. When the mouse is clicked, Line Two appears. When the mouse
is clicked again, Line Three appears. Elementary stuff.

Line Two is set to dim (change to gray) on exit. How do I get Line One
to dim since no animation is associated with it? I do not want to have
to click on the slide to get Line One to appear.

I can do it, but I'm not sure if I can explain it coherently. You
basically want to set the entire shape to animate and dim when done.
However, you want to adjust the individual settings for the individual
lines. For Line One, you want to set its timing to be Start With
Previous. For Line Two and Line Three, you want to set the timing to be
Start on Click.

Thanks, David. Start with Previous is what I was missing. Works great.
