Disable auto-expanding pst

I'm running Outlook 2003 SP3 in an Exchange 2003 SP2 environment. I have an
Outlook rule that moves specific messages to a folder in a local PST file.
However, when a message is moved via rule to the folder it automatically
expands and reveals all the subfolders below. The folder does not auto-expand
if a message is manually moved to it. Is there a way to continue moving
messages via rule to this PST folder without it auto-expanding every time?
