Disable bulleting & numbering of lists

Often in complex text pages that I write for educational
purposes, I find it useful to turn off bulleting,
particularly when I'm filling out items in tables and I'm
trying to save space.

This is easy in Word, but I do not seem to be able to get
Publisher 2002 to let me turn this feature off.

Does anyone know how to get Publisher to cease inserting
bullets when it senses that I'm typing a list??

Tools, options, autocorrect, Autoformat as you type tab, un-tick the appropriate
boxes.

Thanks for your help with this feature.

In point of fact it was: Tools, AutoCorrect Options,
Autoformat As You Type tab. There are just more useful
features than you can keep track of sometimes.
