Disable Directory Cache on Startup

Every time I open Visio 2002 its says "Please wait while
Visio updates directory cache". This may only take a few
seconds but it's still a pain. Does anyone know if there
is a way to turn this feature off on startup?

I have tried, but with the same results, launching Visio
via the run prompt "c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Visio10\Visio.exe" /r

So do you know of a way to stop Visio from updating the
directory cache, everytime I open it?

Thanks,
John

A possible fix for this is to load the Visio CD (don't run anything),
in windows explorer go to

D:\Install\bin\sp\VBA and run vba6.msi
