Disable or Remove Outlook News

Is there a way to remove/uninstall the news feature of
Outlook 2000 or Outllok 2002. I would like to permanently
disable this Outlook feature on my PC.

The news feature merely opens the OE Newsreader, as it does in IE. OL has no
newsreader.
