Disable the previous record button in form view

I create databases for use with middle-school students and would like for
them not to view the previous records to look at others' work. How can I
disable the feature that allows them to easily look at previous records?

You can open the form so that it only allows adding a new record. On the
property sheet, choose the Data tab and change the Data Entry property to
Yes.

You can add the student's username to each record that you want them to see,
then use an api function to get their login username and display only those
records:
