Hello,
I have hundreds of Word documents that have been created and the {date}
field will always change to today's date when those documents are opened. I
also have twenty machines on the network that have Word installed that this
happens on as well. Is there a way to disable Word from updating only the
{date} field in the hundreds of documents so that if the user views or prints
out the document they will see a date from the past and not the current date?
Stacey
P.S. I've posted this question in the
microsoft.public.word.setup.networking newsgroup and haven't received an
accurate answer.
