Disabling Autocomplete

Hi,

I'm trying to permanently disable Autocomplete (in W97 and W2000). If i do
disable Autocomplete on a document, when I reopen Word it, Autocomplete is
turned on. Is there a way to permanently disable this?

This should be a global setting. If it is not being retained, it may be that
you need to rebuild the Word Data key in the Registry. See
