Disabling cache mode via GPO

Is it possible to disable cache mode via GPO. I know you can make it so new
profiles start in non-cached mode.

There is one setting that appears to disable cache mode "cached exchange
mode", but after I apply the GPO to a test workstation in a test OU, the
cached mode setting is still checked. Is the system working in noncacehd
mode even though the check mark is checked?
