Disabling FINDFAST.EXE ?

The MS website was helpful. It states, however, that it applies to Office 97
Standard Edition. I'm running Office 97 Professional Edition. I assume this
still applies, but am not sure. Thanks.

Hihi, yes

As far as remember findfast puts 4 files in the root, assuming root is
c:\ , look there and you'll find 4 files with something like 'ffast' in
it. Remove these 4 files and you'll be free of unwanted PC
activity-on-a-regular-basis ;-)

As far as remember findfast puts 4 files in the root, assuming root is
c:\ , look there and you'll find 4 files with something like 'ffast' in
it. Remove these 4 files and you'll be free of unwanted PC
activity-on-a-regular-basis ;-)
