Sir
i opened a worksheet and recorded a macro. after disabling the macro in the dialog box, i opened again in another terminal but the security dialog box appears on the screen. also i would be sending reports to others through the mail. i would like to know what procedure to be used, so that startup macro dialog box does not appear on the screen when opening the worksheet.

My system version is Xp whereas my colleague version is 97. when i disable the macros in the XP version and if i open in the 97 version the startup macro dialog appears. i would like to know how to hide the macros so that no one is able to see the macro file.

If you could disable the macro warning, that would defeat the purpose of
having it. In Excel 97, you have no options. In xl2000 or later, you can
certify your workbook, and after the user accepts you as a trusted source,
they would not be prompted.
