Disabling Remaining Work column

Hello Team,
What setting do I need to select to not allow team members
to update remaining work? I would like it to be greyed out like Actual work.
I am using MS project 2003.
Kindly update.

You cannot lock the Remaining Work column for editing on the View My Tasks
page. Instead, you can hide it by editing the Timesheet view and removing
the column. Log into PWA and then click Admin - Manage Views. Select the
Timesheet view and click the Modify View button. Select the Remaining Work
field and click the Remove button, and then click the Save button. Hope
