Disabling the broweser "Back" button

I run a website where a form gathers information. Once "submit" has been
clicked the inputted information is emailed and the user gets sent to an
acknowledgement page. I want to prevent the user from clicking his "Back"
button and clicking "submit" again, thus duplicating the email. How can I
disable his browser "Back" button on the acknowledgment page? Thanks for any
help you can offer.

You can't. Using ASP, ASP.Net, or some other server-side web programming
technology, you can get around this. But not with HTML and a FrontPage form
handler.

but doesn't fp's form handler dump/clear the info after Submit?...so they'd
go back to an empty form...no?

No, it doesn't from the back button. Also, If the form checking finds a fault
and the user clicks the "Back to Form" link all the info he has input
disappears but if he just clicks his back button it all stays.

The user doesn't even have to click the back button. The page is cached in
memory on the browser.
