disabling Web access

Hi there! I was wondering if it is possible to stop Microsoft office 2003
applications from automatically connecting to the Web (such as when you use
the help feature). I'm sure this is great at integrating office with live
content but it is infuriating for us dial-up users!!

Yeah. Click on Help - Word Help - in the task pane select Online Content
Settings and there you go.
