disappearing data sources dialog box

I want to link a SQL table to my Access 2003 front end. I have set up the
ODBC connection in my Administrtaive tasks.

When I select the ODBC databases () option in the data source dialog box the
box disappears and nothing further happens.

Any suggestions?

You probably use Norton Antivirus of Symantec Antivirus or a flavor thereof.
Turn off the Office Plug-in:
