Disappearing e-mails

Help!!! I've just reinstalled Outlook 2007 after resetting my computer and
now I find that whenever I receive an e-amil and read it it disappears once I
move onto another e-mail. To find them I have to search when in the past they
would stay in my inbox until I decided to file or delete them. Is there
anybody out there that can stop me smashing my head against the computer
desk????????

are you from Germany?

Anyhow, do you use an old Outlook 97-2002 PST file?
If yes, please use a new unicode Outlook 2003/2007 PST file.


Does Outlook.exe runs several times as process in the "Task Manager?
If yes, please restart your com,upter and be sure that Outlook.exe runs only
one time.

Do you have the SP1 for Outlook 2007 installed?
Do you have special filter for emails?
Do you use "Kaspersky" as Antivirus software?

Hi Oliver,

No, I'm English but speak German and it's one of my favourite words. I've no
idea, I'm not that clued up on PC's but not totally thick either. It was
working fine until I had to reinstall it. I wouldn't know where to start in
checking what you've asked sorry.
