Disappearing Formulas

One of my coworkers has created formulas within a spread sheet and
successfully worked with them for the last 3-4 weeks. This morning all of
the formulas seem to be gone but the hard data resulting from them is in
tact.

Any suggestions?? Or is there a ghost in the machine??

I would suspect that someone (not excel by itself) changed the values to
formulas (a simple copy|paste special|values would be sufficient).
