Disappearing graphs in ppt

small problem thats driving me mad.

farily new in ppt. im trying to copy over (c+p) a pie chart from excel.
when in ppt i paste the chart in, i then click off it and it disappears.

tried inserting and creating new object and same thing happens. tried
bringing object to front incase its hidden.

im sure its something very simple.

using ppt-2003

Two things.

1. In PPT, go to Help|Check for Updates and install the latest service pack
for Office 2003.

2. Try changing your hardware acceleration.
