Disappearing items

I was using OneNote with classes of 20 students. They were filling in a
table with research findings. Some pictures were included.

After about 30 minutes, pictures and text began disappearing from the table.
This happened at about the same time in each class.

Is there a limit to the amount of information that can go on a single page?

How were the students connected to the notebook?
Just opening the file "shared"?
Or using a "live session"?
