Disappearing Outlook Personal Folders

This is the third time I have turned on my computer to find that my Personal
Folders have been deleted from Outlook. I have reinsate from my external
backup but woul like to prevent it happening again. Any suggestions as to why
this happens and how to sop it? Thanks.....
