disappearing toolbars

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I did not modify anything in any of the operating system or templates....one day i open my MS Word for Mac and the toolbars no longer show up.

I go to view/toolbars menue and the ones i want are checked. I uncheck them, then check them again and they partially show up. When I start to use them they fill in. ???? is this a glitch? It drives me crazy.

Welll... I think "THEY" would call it a "feature"...

You see the idiotic blue jellybean at the top right hand corner of the
window? If you click that by mistake, all your toolbars hide...

No, it wasn't you. Sadly, I believe it's a required part of the Apple user
interface, so we can't get rid of it...

It isn't a "glitch" - it's an OS X "feature" :)... Click the oblong button
at the right end of the document window's title bar.
