Disater recovery...

Our old PC bit the dust. Was running Win XP and using Outlook 2000 as our
Mail and calendar program. I replaced the desktop with a laptop running
Vista Home Premium. Installed outlook 2002, and can't find a way to have it
recognize my old outlook 2000 .PST files.

Is there any way to extract specifically, calendar information from a .PST
file (I'm assuming that's where it will be, yes?)? A utility; something that
can unravel the file?

I'd be greatful for any help or suggestions.

Thanks,
Stew

All you need to do it point the new profile to the old pst. The pst is
compatible between Outlook 2000 and 2002.

this shows how to make a new profile and hook up the old pst:
http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/profile/profile.htm
it's for outlook 2007 but the steps are mostly the same for older versions.
