Discrepancies between “My Task†and “Project Centerâ€

Several Teams Members got discrepancies between “My Task†and “Project Centerâ€.

1- One Team Member has only one project displayed in the Project Center (an
old one) but his currents project he is supposed to work on, are not
displayed. But on the other side these projects and the related tasks show up
in “My Taskâ€. I ensured that no filter have been set.

2 – Several TM have more than 20 tasks displayed in one project in the
“Project Centerâ€, but less than 5 of these tasks are displayed in “My Taskâ€.

I guess it is 2 different issues, but I have no idea where they come from.

Issue number one sounds like security. Get the View Effective Rights Tool
and run it to assess where the blockage is. My guess would be in how the
Categories are configured.

Issue number two sounds like they have the Current Tasks only flag on. Check
out the options for the My Tasks view, and toggle the Current Tasks flag
off and on. See if that resolves it.

Thanks, after further investigations:
Issue #1 it seems to be related to security, although I don’t fully
understand what happened. I Keep digging for.
For issue #2 it was the show only Current task flag
