Discussion Post doesn't work - 1st Workspace created

I just got Groove07 running and created my first workspace. Added a bunch of
files. Invited no one. Wanted to seed the discussion and tried to post a new
one. Choose New Topic and get the error "This web page should only be opend
from within Groove. Please close the window." I choose OK and then get an IE
Script Error, "Line 2556, char5, Error 'null' is null or not an opject, Code
-= 0 URL file:///C:/Program Files/
msoffice.../office12/groove/tooldata/groove.net/frooveforms5/formsfomrtemplate.html?FormID=6754...."
then another script error. Then the discussion form goes blank and says
"undefined" in the upper left.

Any ideas?

Hi Bryan,

I am also getting this error. And I reinstalled Groove07 last week, before
that, it worked fine.

Any help with this would be most apreciated since my company is using this
and I can't get to the discussions.

Thanks!
Dixie

Hi Bryan,

By luck, I just fixed this error and now I can see my discussions. I ran
Office2007 repair and now I everything is working just fine in Groove.
Actually I had to run it a few times over the past few weeks.

Just thought this might help.
Thanks.

Yes. I did the same thing and it worked. Then, two weeks later it stopped
working again. I did a repair and voila! Annoying.

Please help. Dixie & I have both found that doing a add/remove Repair of all
of office fixes it for a short time, but then the prob comes back.

I to have strarted getting this error. Has anyone found a good permanent fix
for it besides repair install?

I haven't. Have to do it about 1x/week or two.

Hmm, I have the same problem and thought it was due to backup/restore copying
the underlying Groove workspaces to a new machine. I'll try the Install
Repair and see if that, at least, temporarily clears up the problem.

Needless to say, I, too, seek a permanent solution.
