Hi Carol,
Without knowing what the error message you received is, it's not easy to guess, but you may have a corrupted download if the
'failed' is the only dialog you're getting and you may want to download a fresh copy (clear your temporary internet folders first -
you can use
Start=>Programs=>Accessories=>System=>Disk Cleanup as one method to do that)

Are you installing just the Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager Add-in from CD#2?
Have you already run Outlook 2007 successfully after installing CD#1 and have you restarted the PC?
Are you logged in as Administrator?
BCM installs SQL Server express if there isn't another SQL database present and in some cases troubleshooting what is causing it can
get a bit tricky.

Outlook 2007 works fine.I am logged in an administrator.Have no other SQL
server listed in add/remove programs. What about .Net Framework 3.0. I have
also been told that uninstalling Works or Works addins may help but I am not
sure why.Still fails on install using msconfig.Thanks for response.All help
