I use Word 2000 and have a lot of embedded figures and
equations with equations in figures as well. Often a
figure gets corrupted so that I can no longer save the
document, getting a disk is full error. When this happens
I have to do a binary search to find the effected figure.
Once found, the figure can't be opened but can be deleted
and pasted in from a an older version of the document. Any
changes to the figure between the two versions of the
document are of course lost.
Does anyone know of a way to avoid this problem or a
shorter way to recover from it?
