Display a field only

After a person exits a field I am doing a lookup to another field to display
information. I do not want to focus on this field. It is for display
purposes only.

How is this done?

You need to do two things.
1. Set the Locked property of the control to Yes. The control will display
normally, but you will not be able to modify it on the form.
2. Set the Tab Stop property to No. When you tab through controls on your
form, the cursor will not stop on it.

One other thing. Terminology. A Field is an object in a Table or Query.
Forms do not have Fields, they have Controls.
