display a memo on a report

Hello!

Why Access truncates the field that I have on a report to 255 characters?
even if I've set the property CanGrow = True

The field is attached to the report's recordsource which itself made of a
query. and the query displays the full text (more than 255char)

One possibility could be if you've formatted the control on the report...

No the control has no format, the only thing is that I've added some text
before the field on the query
such as
"here is the report : " & [myField]
and the hole text returned by the query is full length, but when I display
it on the report only 251 characters are displayed!

I'd suggest checking at Google.com for memo-related issues in reports.
