Display both unread and total file count in Outlook 2003 Status Ba

How Can I display both unread and total file count in the Outlook 2003?

Earlier versions displayed both. 2003 shows only total file count when
status bar is displayed and I can't find a way to change it.

If you have the folder set to show you the unread count, that count will
appear to the right of the folder name. The status bar will still show the
total count.
