Display correct currency symbol in report based on selection in a form

I have a form in which users input expences. Depending on the location of
travel the expences can be different currencies which is selected by the
user from a drop down list in the form.

These details are then output to a report listing all the expences and the
totals. How would I go about displaying the currency symbol with the amounts
based on the currency selection made in the form?
