display $ in a userform textbox

Hi All, I have a userform in excel that accepts amount values.. My Question is:
Is there a way I can display a '$' Sign in text box accepting amount values?

amount = 10.23
textbox1.value = format(amount,'"$")

amount = 10.23
texbox1.value = Format(amount, "$#.00")
