ISSUE:
User has a contact, let's say [email protected], with "Display As" set to
John Smith.
User then receives an email from [email protected] but it comes in From
"John Smith, Jr." in the display. Which I always thought was controlled by
the sender's side.
The user says that this used to not be the case. That they had a way to
make sure that any emails from [email protected] always displayed whatever
their contact "Display As" was set to. So if they changed
[email protected]'s contact to "Jane Doe" it would then display as Jane Doe
when that address sent them email.
I'm saying that is not the case, but can't prove it.
So, can I make sure that any emails that come in from [email protected] or
any other contact this user has filed, always shows as "From:" and then their
"Display As" field in Contacts?
Thanks for your help.
