Display item from text file

I have a text file with 5 names in it. Each week the next name on the list
is the person carrying the "on call-emergancy cell phone" Is there a way in
frontpage that I can get a cell or some part of the page to display the name
from this text doc? I can use excel, access or MS SQL if any of these would
work better than a text file.
I need this info to be present somewhere on all pages in my site.
Thanks in advance
Ken

HI! the way you have phrased this post is hard to understand due to the "
on call-emergency cell phone" part. I suggest that you repost this question
in a different way and I think what you are asking for is a excel table or a
database like access but I am not sure due to the way you have posted this
post.

in either case I do not have the right info to lead you other than like I
mentioned to repost this message in a different way.

Sorry for the confusion, Let me restate.
My department has a small 10 page intranet, we also have a cell phone that
the "on call" person carries, this person is different from week to week.
There are 5 people that take turns with the phone (John, Paul,George,Ringo,
Pete)- It is currently Johns week to carry the phone, next monday it will be
pauls turn and so on.
Is there a way to display a name from my list in a cell that will change
each week and show the next name, and change automatically?

HI! I am not that familiar this but I would assume that an excel spreadsheet
will do the trick. create your fields in excel and look for your desired
function ( something that would do for every week " line plus 1" if end loop
to top" ) you may want to ask in the excel forum how to do this if no one
answers you in this one. after that just insert it in FrontPage into you
webpage.also look in the FP help how to insert specific spreadsheet fields.

hope this helps a bit :)
