display macro name

I have made several macros in word 2007 for use on a daily updating project.
I put them on my quick launch toolbar but they all have the same symbol. I
really don't want any of the symnols, I just want the "one word name" that
describes the action of the macro to me.
Is this possible in word 2007? I can't seem to find an answer thru the
search engines.
Any help/advice is welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks
Joanne

Sorry, it is not possible. Microsoft hasn't provided any way to put text on
Quick Access Toolbar buttons. The best you can do is to pick different icons
from the small assortment in the Modify popup in the Customize dialog.

An alternative is to put the macros on a custom ribbon group, where it is
possible to have both labels and custom icons. See
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Ribbon_Images_Labels_Part1.htm and

Thanks for the info. I will study the building of a new ribbon. Probably a
good thing to know how to do.
I posted my question a second time because I didn't see my question on the
top of the list - whoa, it was on the very bottom. So please excuse my
re-posting, it won't happen again
Again, thanks for the help
