Display number in text

Can I transform number in text with Excel 97 ?

Ex: 1234 => one thousand two hundred thirty four

In Excel 2003 you can use the BAHTTEXT() function. It is
such a function in Excel 97 or, another possibility to do
this ?

Isn't bahttex() useless?... it converts the number to text
but in Thai!!!
