display of a custom Enterprise Project Number field

How can the display of a custom Enterprise Project Number field
included in a custom view in Project Server 2003 be customized, like
graphical indicators can, so it's value is only visible in the project
summary task row and not visible in any other task, milestone or
summary task rows.

There is no way to accomplish this. When you create a custom enterprise
Project number field, the field values are visible only in the Project
Information dialog and the Save to Project Server dialog, and you cannot see
graphical indicators displayed in either of these dialogs. Beyond this, you
cannot display either the value or the graphical indicator in only the
Project Summary Task. Sorry.
