display of equation

i used equation editor in Microsoft Word 2002, however its display on the
document is not correct. The symbols change to other bizzare symbols.

Please make another post to the newsgroup and tell us more
specifically what version of Word you're using. Although you said
it was Word 2002, we need more information that that. Open up
Word, and in the Help menu, click on "About Microsoft Office
Word" or "About Microsoft Word" and give us the version number
from that screen. For example, mine says "Word 2003
(11.6359.6360) SP1".

We also need to know the version of Windows. If you're using
Windows XP, let us know whether or not you've installed SP-2.
