Display Project durations in days instead of minutes

When I roll up a bunch of projects, the duration of the project summary task
is displayed in minutes instead of days. Why is this happening and what I
can I do about it?

Thanks!!

Hi,

"Roll Up"? Do you mean insert them into a common "master" projects?
If so, in this master Project Tols, Options, Schedule, Duration is entered
in... select wht you prefer.

It sounds like your default units was set to minutes just prior to
starting this project. OR someone ran the macro you are now going to
use to fix this but they set it to minutes instead of days.

Click Tools | Macro | Macros and select the one called Format Duration
and click the run button. Select Days and click OK. This will set the
Duration units back to Days.

Hi jdstorella,

I believe you had suggestions in early June from Brian to run the
Format_Duration macro and from Jan to change the Tools > Options, Schedule
tab "Duration is entered in" setting.

Did you try both suggestions?

Tell us a bit more about your setup, please. What version (including
Service Pack information) of Project are you using?

What do you mean by "roll up a bunch of projects"? Have you created a
master project by the Insert > Project command?
Are the project files linked (embedded) in the master?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi,

Supposing that
- You changed the setting "Duration is entered in" to days
- The software still shows summary tasks in minutes

Then
You are running a different software than ours.
