"Display Project Web Access in Outlook" but where's left-side menu?

I ran the function "Display Microsoft Project Web Access in Microsoft
Outlook" for one of the views. That let me see all the PWA pages within
Outlook.

But the left-side menus don't appear. For example, the "Tasks" menu doesn't
show me its submenu ("View my tasks", "Create a new task",...).

Why is that? Is the answer that the Outlook access wasn't intended for more
than that?

It's really just a programmer assumption. Here's a trick:

Right click the folder or shortcut for PWA in Outlook
Click Properties
Change the end of the URL which reads "simpleui=10" to "simpleui=13"

The left-hand navigation will now display as collapsed by default.
