Display Property sheet problem

DylisTN

I've used access for 16 years. Never had this happen before. Just got new
computer with office 2007. I've dredded this change. And was correct to
dred. Absolutly hate this product. Completely non-productive 3 days.

I've worked thru most of the interface issues. But now (and I've tested
this in both forms and reports) I cannot display a property sheet for forms
or reports or controls on the forms or reports. From right click menu click
properies-Nothing, From Icon on ribbon-nothing, from view menu property
sheet- nothing. And contact microsoft is not an option because they only
support their products for a fee now.

First thing to check would be that you have applied Service Pack 2 for
Office 2007. This link should get you there:

With a text box selected, Alt+Enter should also open the Properties sheet.
In A2007, it opens to the right side of the Access window rather than as a
pop-up.

You managed to learn the new interface in 3 days?
That's going quite well, I would have thought. :)

Anyway, you might like to see if this helps you adapt:

It solved the problem for me, I'm happy to report!
