Access 2000 on Win2000 Professional.
My small database contains among others a field of
tpye "Ole object"; on the form sheet I click on that
field, invoke 'insert object' -> Create from file; on the
harddisc I select some existing .BMP or JPG-file
Result:
the field doesn't display the contents of the selected
file but filename and the symbol for that file.
How can I manage to display the contents here?

in another environment with that same database there's no
such problem.
