Displaying and printing clipart

The solution to this must be so simple but I can't find
it! Clipart does not display or print in Word 97
documents. What boxes in Options need to be
checked/unchecked? Hope someone can help - it is driving
me nuts.

Tools | Options | View:

1. Check the box for "Drawings" (affects floating objects).

2. Clear the check box for "Picture placeholders" (affects inline graphics).

Tools | Options | Print: check the box for "Drawing objects."

If graphics neither display nor print, they're more likely floating objects.
