Displaying Excel 2007 with colored tabs

Can Excel 2008 display Excel 2007 workbooks with features we cannot create in Excel 2008 such as colored tabs? Is there a list of features for both Excel products and their availability for each software program? It would be great to know if they both display the same or not. Each has different features and it would be hard to know what options to use to display what you want. Thank you for any reply.

Sorry, but colored sheet tabs are something that didn't make the cut in
2008... Perhaps the next release will include that feature.

As for a feature-for-feature comparison of any 2 or more versions of Excel I
doubt that any such animal exists. If you have specific concerns there are
folks in this group who work with both PC as well as Mac. I'm sure someone
can answer those questions or help determine what the answer is. I believe
what you will find in general is that as long as you stay away from VBA
[that's the biggest concern for most users] & the newer, more unique
features in 2007 that the files should not present a cross-platform issue.
