Hi
I don't know if anyone will have an idea about this. I have been displaying
photos on Access forms and reports for years, but for the first time a client
has complained that the resolution of the photo is not as good as when the
same photo is inserted into an Excel or Word doc. I am using fairly high
quality photos (250kb) of buildings, reduced to around 4cm x 3cm. I have
noticed that when reduced in MS Photo Editor to the same size, a similar loss
of quality is apparant, but not when they are inserted into Excel or Word and
reduced to the same size.
I imagine this must be something to do with the default resolution in
Access, although I don't know why it should be better in Word/Excel than PE.
I'd like to give him some clever-sounding answer, if anyone has one!
Many thanks.
