Dissappearing drop-down calendars

When trying to select a date for a Task in a drop-down menu, the calendar
dissappears as soon as I hover my cursor over it. This happens in other MS
based programs as well.

Sounds like an issue with your local machine. Perhaps your java runtime
environment?
