Distrbution lists in BCM

Hello,

I support the business development efforts of an ad agency. About 5-10 of my
colleagues and I will be using Outlook 2007 with BCM for new business and
prospecting efforts.

One of the tasks we'll want to do with BCM is categorize contacts according
to their industry (automotive, electronics, healthcare, food & beverage
etc.). These groups should be accessible by anyone in the agency using BCM.
After these groups are created and shared, we want to be able send out mass
e-mails to one of two of these categories, depending on the content of the
e-mail. I'm stuck as to how to accomplish this.

Here's what I did so far:

- Created a distribution list and added the appropriate BCM contacts.
- Shared that distribution list with colleagues.

That worked well, but there's a limit of how many contacts you can add to
distribution lists (50-100?). I'd like to be able to create groups of 250-500.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? It doesn't have to be
distribution lists, but I do have to be able to share these groups.

Any advice is appreciated.

Check out Search Folders in BCM. These would accomplish what you're trying
to do and are able to be seen by all users of a BCM database.

HTH,
